Luis D'Acosta
Chief Executive Officer
Luis was the global head of Schneider Electric's Digital Energy business, where he worked to accelerate the digitization of power networks by building and implementing new technology solutions. He has vast global experience running software businesses, scaling startups, and leading growth and customer engagement initiatives.
Jesse Demmel
Chief Technology Officer
Jesse has over 15 years of software engineering leadership experience with solutions ranging from consumer web scale to enterprise SaaS. Prior to joining Uplight, he was CTO at Sovrn and Vice President Engineering of Connected Fitness at Under Armour.
Indran Ratnathicam
Chief Strategy Officer
Indy brings more than 20 years of marketing, corporate strategy and executive leadership in energy and technology. He previously served as Vice President of Marketing and Strategy at FirstFuel, and a management consultant with The Boston Consulting Group. Indy is a basketball coach, and believes strongly in the power of teams.
Michelle Anastasi
Chief People Officer
Michelle has more than 20 years experience as an executive in fast-growing tech companies. She has held leadership positions in early and late-stage private and public companies, including Mersive Technologies, Ibotta and Dell. As a catalyst for organizational growth and effectiveness, Michelle defines and builds leadership and culture around purpose, inclusion and accountability. She is passionate about people coming together in service of positive social impact.
Matt Harsha-Strong
Chief Financial Officer
Matt has over 15 years of financial and corporate development experience in the energy sector. Prior to Uplight, he was Managing Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at The AES Corporation, where he helped build Uplight and helped transform AES' US renewables business into an industry leader. Matt is passionate about scaling mission-oriented businesses together with great teams.
Hannah Bascom
Chief Market Innovation Officer
Hannah leads the Market Innovation team at Uplight, which is responsible for catalyzing the market for decarbonization and furthering Uplight's thought leadership. Prior to joining Uplight, Hannah spent 20 years building partnerships and new markets in the climate and social impact space. She is passionate about accelerating the trajectory towards a cleaner and more equitable future for all.
Scott McGaraghan
Division General Manager
Scott leads commercial and leadership functions for Uplight's VPP and Large Asset business. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the cleantech space, and specifically in demand response and VPPs. Formerly VP of International Business Development at Voltus, Scott is an expert in demand response and VPPs for residential, commercial and industrial markets.
Shaila Lakhani Ohri
Senior Vice President, General Counsel
Shaila advises the company and Board, and leads the legal team on matters of risk, strategic and commercial transactions, data privacy, intellectual property, corporate governance, employment and compliance. Shaila brings extensive leadership experience, significant understanding of the energy and utility industry, and a passion for supporting innovation and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Sally Lambert
Senior Vice President, Delivery & Operations
Over her years at Uplight, Sally has led across a variety of teams including Client Success, Sales and Partnerships, Operations, and Business Excellence. Client centricity is at the heart of everything she does, and her teams' goal is to deliver client value & outcomes that advance decarbonization and grid flexibility. Outside of the clean tech industry, Sally is a former competitive ultimate frisbee player and wilderness guide, and now spends her free time adventuring in the mountains.
Scott McClintock
Senior Vice President, Sales
Scott has over 20 years of work experience in the energy efficiency, renewable energy, non-profit and hospitality sectors, with an extensive track record of developing high-performing sales organizations built to scale rapidly. He has over eight years of Sales leadership experience at Uplight.
