Uplight, a certified B corporation, was created to create a more sustainable future using business as a force for good. We seek to do this to preserve beautiful places for our children and to mitigate the effect climate change will have on vulnerable communities. 

While that is a tall order, our utility clients have also set some ambitious goals. Just a couple of years ago, none of our utility partners had set net zero emissions targets. Today, according to SEPA, 69 utilities across the United States have publicly stated carbon or emission reduction goals. Working together, we believe that we can help energy providers on their path towards decarbonization–activating residential and non-residential customers at scale by engaging customers, driving adoption of grid edge solutions, and orchestrating supply and demand.
